A strong Macclesfield outfit dominated play in the second half and ran out worthy winners.
Dan Stockdale opened the scoring for Wharfedale from a good catch and drive for an unconverted try. Macclesfield responded with superb movement down the right wing with touching down for the visitor’s first try, by Dan Leake, which was not converted. Sam Dickinson then touched down for Dale with Archie Haddon adding the extras. The scores were again level when Leake touched down for his second and Harry Oliver converted.
