Brecon v Pontypridd – Match Preview
On Saturday 6th September Pontypridd RFC get their 2025/26 Premiership campaign underway at Parc de Pugh against Brecon RFC, kick-off is 2:30pm.
Ponty’s last and only visit to Parc de Pugh wasn’t long ago and, the Valley Commandos will be hoping for a different outcome this time around. On Saturday 29th March a spirited Pontypridd comeback towards the end of the contest wasn’t enough and the home side sealed 36-29 win. That result was a far cry compared to when the two clubs met earlier in the season at Sardis Road, Ponty ran out comfortable 43-11 winners on Saturday 16th November 2024.
A new season, fresh optimism and lots of new faces in the Pontypridd playing squad – lets get the show on the road tomorrow afternoon, pob lwc bois!
