Captain’s End Of Season Blog
Now that the season has finally come to an end I can look back on a successful season with great pride and a sense of achievement. At the start of the year, we sat down as group and set two main goals of winning the Premiership and Cup. We unfortunately didn’t quite achieve the league but gave Merthyr a good run for their money. However, we did manage to get our special day down the stadium which is now the highlight of my Pontypridd career and will stay at the forefront of my life memories.
I don’t know where to even begin with saying thank you. First, I would like to thank the coaching staff, playing group and the medical team. The commitment and love you have shown to the club throughout the year has been nothing short of incredible. I would also like to thank the supporters, sponsors, friends and family for the continuous support. The love and noise that you gave us down Cardiff in the final sums up the support we have as a club. On a separate note, I would like to give Phil Miles a special mention, what he does for us week in week out doesn’t go unnoticed.
On a final note I would like to wish all the players that are moving on next season all the best, who go with my best wishes and hope I to see you back in Sardis for a couple of beers at some point in the future.
