At our recent AGM, outgoing President Alan Browning announced that Dave Jermyn has been named Club Person of the Year for 2025 at Old Wesley RFC and is the proud recipient of the Danny O’Grady Trophy.
Alan Browning said: This award is one of the most cherished honors in our club, recognizing an individual whose contributions have had a profound impact on the life and spirit of Old Wesley. It’s about more than just time and effort—it’s about heart, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the club and its people.
In his role as Chair of Rugby, Dave has played a pivotal part in shaping the direction and success of rugby at Old Wesley. This position carries significant responsibility – Dave has led with vision, energy, and a deep understanding of what makes our club special. Under his leadership:
