CLUBMAN OF THE YEAR 2025
On Friday 9th May, at the Senior Rugby Awards Dinner we proudly presented our most prestigious honour—the Clubman of the Year Award.
This award is reserved for someone who truly embodies what it means to be a Luctonian: unwavering commitment, tireless work behind the scenes, and a deep passion for the black and white.
This year’s recipient has been a cornerstone of our club for many years. From his early days as a player to his long-standing involvement in the senior rugby setup as a Colts Coach, 2nd XV Coach and as of next season our 1st XV Backs Coach, he has consistently gone above and beyond—often away from the spotlight, always with heart, humour, and the occasional quote.
His support for young and up-and-coming players is unmatched, and his keen eye for spotting potential is second to none. He is a constant, dependable presence within the club—and he played an absolutely vital role in securing the promotion of our 2nd XV this season, as well as three consecutive league titles at Level 7. In addition to his work within our senior set up, he understands the role that the club has within the community and how important this is, having coached across various age groups at Mortimer Park, Herefordshire and Worcestershire and the North Midlands.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that the 2024-25 Clubman of the Year is Brett Prior.
