As we gear up for the upcoming weekend of April 18th – 20th, our rugby club is excited to participate in the “Respect Our Game” campaign. This initiative is more than just a set of guidelines from the IRFU; it is aimed to be a celebration of the core values that make rugby a unique sport. By emphasizing respect in game and one the side-line, we aim to create a positive and safe environment for all participants, from players to coaches, parents, and spectators.

The Purpose of the Campaign

The “Respect Our Game” campaign is designed to highlight our values and showcase the best aspects of rugby through our active involvement in the club. It is an opportunity to demonstrate to all members and the local community how rugby on and off the pitch can positively impact our lives when played and supported in a respectful and safe environment. The campaign includes various initiatives such as fair play awards at adult games, silent or positive sidelines at youth games, and presentations to parents and coaches about their influential roles within the game.
