ODDBALLS COMES TO LUCTONIANS

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Luctonians hosted the OddBalls Foundation, featuring a talk by Hartpury Ambassador Hannah for the Boys’ Junior Rugby section. Over 70 players from the Under-13 to Under-16 age groups attended, along with some coaches and parents.

Hannah spoke about testicular cancer, covering key topics such as awareness of symptoms, how and where to perform self-checks, and the importance of open conversations with teammates, friends, family, and doctors.

The talk was delivered in an engaging manner that made it easy for everyone to understand, sprinkled with humour that got a few laughs and encouraged interactions from the boys!

We would like to extend our gratitude to Hannah for her time, as well as to the boys, who then enjoyed a combination of training and matches in the glorious sunshine.
