Old Wesley Rugby Club Welcomes Adam Curry as New Under 20s Coach

Old Wesley Rugby Club is excited to announce the appointment of Adam Curry as the new head coach for our Under 20s team for the 2025/26 season. This significant appointment marks a new chapter for our club as we aim to re-establish a competitive and thriving Under 20s setup.

Adam Curry, a dedicated coach at Wesley College for the past 10 years, has been coaching the Junior Cup Team (JCT) and Senior Cup Team (SCT). He has also been heavily involved in rugby coordination at Lansdowne for the past 5 years, working with both adult and youth levels. His extensive experience with Under 20s and Junior rugby, including titles in the U20 All Ireland Cup, JP Fanagan Premier 1, Metro 3, and Metro 4, makes him the ideal candidate to recruit and coach young talent. Additionally, Adam has experience coaching the Leinster U17’s Schools Development Summer Programme. His impressive track record and commitment to the sport align perfectly with our club’s vision for the future.

The Old Wesley Under 20s team competes in the JP Fanagan League, providing a robust platform for young players to develop their skills and compete at a high level. Adam will work closely with senior coaches and Darragh Coyle, our rugby coordinator, to ensure a seamless integration with all areas of the club. As we embark on the recruitment of Under 20s, Senior, and Junior players, we emphasize the importance of support from our wider membership. Providing job opportunities, accommodation, and transport will be crucial in attracting top talent and strengthening our team.
