Match Preview – Pontypool RFC v Ebbw Vale RFC

The Steelmen travel to Pontypool Park this Saturday to face Pontypool RFC in the next round of Super Rygbi Cymru. The game will see the Steelmen look to win their 8th game in a row having beaten Cardiff RFC last weekend to move into top spot in the SRC Trophy.

Ebbw Vale with face Pontypool RFC over the next two weekends with the return fixture being played at the CINER CLASS Community Stadium on Saturday 28th December.

Last season, each side won once game in the Premiership with Pontypool RFC winning  25-20 at Pontypool Park live on S4C Clic.

Jason Strange makes several changes to the starting XV for this weekend’s game. There are 2 changes in the pack with Luke Garrett and Adam Court starting in the front row. Harry Rees-Weldon returns on the wing having scored for Wales U20s against Scotland last weekend. Hamish Anderson moves to 11 replacing Ewan Bowden who came off injured last weekend against Cardiff RFC

Replacements will be named before kick-off on Saturday.
