14:16 : Sandal kick-off, playing down the slope

14:18 : Rix intercepts a Sandal pass that would have been a certain try for Sandal

14:21 : Sandal penalty, 10 out just right of sticks. Converted. S 3 – 0 D

14:23 : Driffield penalty 35 out in front of the sticks. Stanyon converts.  S 3 – 3 D

14:27 : Ramsden in at left corner after ball spun from right wing.  Stanyon just misses conversion to the left of the sticks from the touch line. S 3 – 8 D

14:31 : Good pressure pins Sandal at their five metre line. They clear their lines

14:33 : Stanyon penalty from 15 out just left. S 3 – 11 D

14:41 : From the Sandal 22, with multiple phases, the ball was worked right, and try scored by Brankley. Conversion missed. S 3 – 16 D

14:43 : Sandal line out five out left, followed by a catch-and-drive. Try scored, but conversion missed. S 8 – 16 D

14:47 : Driffield backchat costs Driffield ten metres, taking Sandal into the Driffield 22.  They kick to touch 10 out right side, but the ball is knocked on.  Following the resulting scrum, Sandal win the ball back, eventually gaining a penalty 10 out. This was converted to make it S 11 – 16 D

14:53 : From half-way, Sandal work the right side, keeping the ball alive through with multiple phases to go in at right corner.  Conversion missed. S 16 – 16 D

14:55 : Sandal penalised for obstruction 25 out left.  Stanyon converts. S 16 – 19 D

15:00 : Sandal grind their way into our 22.  Prop bullies his way over from eight out left.  The conversion was good, giving Sandal the lead at the end of the half. S 23 – 19 D

15:09 : Driffield kick-off, this time with the advantage of the slope but into the wind.

15:10 : Driffield awarded a penalty 40 out.  Stanyon converts.  S 23 – 22 D

15:16 : Sandal work the ball left in the Driffield 22, and keep ball alive to go in at the corner.  An excellent conversion from the touch line took the score to S 30 – 22 D

15:18 : Sandal back row shown yellow for taking out a Driffield  jumper in the air, which Stanyon converts.  S 30 – 25 D

15:21 : With a man short, Sandal stepped up the pace of their game, gaining a penalty 10 out on the left hand side.

15:23 : The kick to touch and catch-and-drive were good, and the try was scored at the left of the pitch.  This was followed by another excellent conversion. S 37 – 25 D

15:29 : Driffield returned to attack, and Jordan Young scrambled in at the left corner from short range.  The conversion was missed. S 37 – 30 D

15:34 : Driffield held up over line, just right of sticks.

15:43 : Sandal awarded a penalty 40 out in the of the pitch centre.  The conversion was missed.

15:47 : Rix pinches a loose Sandal pass just 10 out from his own line, and tears up the left wing, making 70 metres before being caught.

15:48 : Soon after, Will Hughes was shown yellow.

15:57 : Driffield dug in for the remaining nine minutes, preventing any further scores, but unable to get any of their own, so the full time score of 37 – 30 meant they only took a losing bonus point from the game, missing out on the four try bonus as they only got three.
