LARK ATKIN-DAVIES VISITS MORTIMER PARK
On Sunday, November 17th, Luctonians were thrilled to welcome Lark Atkin-Davies to Mortimer Park. Lark, a current England Red Rose player who plays for the Bristol Bears, began her rugby journey at Luctonians.
During the first part of her visit, Lark worked with the Vixens, focusing on their set pieces. Vixens Coach Harry Perks commented, “It was great to welcome Lark back to Mortimer Park. The ladies learn so much from her, and it’s wonderful to gain deeper knowledge about set pieces.”
Lark then worked with the U12, U14, and U16 teams before watching them play in their matches. Vixen Sarah Lamonby stated, “Yesterday showed how much progress our club is making with the girls’ and women’s sections, as we fielded a total of three teams from our girls’ section. Well done to all the girls who participated; they truly made the club proud.”
We would like to extend a massive thank you to Lark for working with both the Vixens and the girls. If your daughter is interested in trying rugby, please check our website for more information.
