0 1

The 2024 Sardis 7s is nearly upon us – the 7s tournament is taking place over three consecutive days at Sardis Road and it all gets underway this Friday 26th July with the Youth Leg of the tournament.

Last year’s three-day competition was a huge success again. As is now customary the Youth Leg got the weekend underway on the Friday with Pontypridd Youth winning the Plate whilst Merthyr Youth were crowned Cup Champions.

On Saturday 5th August 2023 a full day of red-hot rugby action with lots of closely fought matches saw St. Peters lifting the Shield, Llantwit Fardre lifting the Plate whilst the High Motive Commandos were crowned Cup Champions of the Senior Leg of the tournament after beating Cynon Crusaders 26 points to 7.

On the Sunday the U16s leg of the tournament brought the curtain down on a brilliant weekend of rugby action – St Albans won the Plate and Morriston won the Cup.

The winning sides from last year’s senior leg of the tournament, from top to bottom – St Peters, Llantwit Fardre and High Motive Commandos.
