2024/25 Admiral Premiership fixtures announced

The 2024/25 Admiral Welsh Premiership fixtures have been announced and Pontypridd RFC will kick off their campaign on the second week of the season at home against fellow Mid District club Bargoed.

The team’s opener against Bargoed takes place on Saturday 14th September and that’s followed with a trip to Llangennech on the subsequent Saturday 21st September. Ponty’s first month concludes with a match against Newbridge at Sardis Road on Saturday 28th September.

Some of our many other notable dates are when we welcome Ystrad Rhonnda to Sardis Road for a festive derby on Saturday 21st December, and matches against Valley rivals Merthyr take place at The Wern on 9/11/2024 and at Sardis on 22/3/2025. The rivalry between the two most successful clubs in Welsh Premiership history continues on Saturday 30th November 2024 when we head to the Gnoll to play Neath. The Welsh All Blacks are the visitors to Sardis Road on Saturday 5th April 2025 and Ponty conclude their season away at Ystrad Rhondda on Saturday 26th April 2025.

Due to there being an odd number of 13 teams in the league again this season, Ponty’s ‘bye weeks’ are the first weekend of the season Saturday 7th September 2024 and Saturday 4th January 2025.
