Squad Retention

Pontypridd RFC can confirm the list of retained players which our squad will be built upon for the 2024/25 season. The players that have committed to Ponty for next season’s Welsh Premiership campaign are:

Ben Stephens, Rob Jones, Morgan Bosanko, Kristian Parker, Mitch Barnard, Macaulay Cook, Joe Miles, Cally James, Cai James, Joel Raikes, Garyn Smith and Dale Stuckey.

The Club still remains in negotiations with other members of the squad, when we have any further news regarding these we’ll keep everyone updated.

Departure Announcement –

Since our media release on Sunday, we can also confirm that winger Tom Edwards, who was linked to the Club via dual registration with local side Beddau RFC has departed Pontypridd RFC. Tom joined Ponty on dual registration in January 2024 and made his debut on Saturday 27th January 2024 as the team beat Pontypool 29-26 at Sardis Road. He went on to make 8 appearances and we would like to thank him for his efforts towards the back end of last season.
