Watson is the second longest serving coach in Superleague so can't say he hasn't been backed by the club if anything he has been overbacked with many signings blocking the potential route for academy players ie Bibby,Livett,Savelio.Whilst Watsons 'process' may work against lesser teams it is hopeless against the big clubs as shown on Saturday.I find it paticularly annoying that two of Wigan's winning team on Saturday are products of our academy and two further academy products are good enough to play in the NRL all play in positions we are paticularly weak in.
