In some respects I am sorry to see him go, when he was 'on' he was a danger and good on the eye, a crowd pleaser. Unfortunately it would seem, his 'on' moments were too infrequent and insufficient to warrant a decent squad spot. I don't know what kind of money he was on, perhaps this was a deciding factor. The biggest surprise for me is the retaining of Dudson, I thought he would be the first to go after last seasons poor efforts. Yes he may have had off field traumas in his life and I sympathise with that but that doesn't prevent you from running straight and hard and we saw precious little of that. This season he has a lot to prove. I hope he proves us all wrong and turns in a great season. Roll on 2024
