Salford placed in "special measures" I know we won't pay a fee but their are one or 2 players I wouldn't mind from Salford.
Feels like fans have had their pants down with the crowd funding nonsense. Has a Bradford feel about it
I don't know what the implications of what "special measures" are but it doesn't sound good.
It just highlights the farce of the IMG gradings that Salford were awarded a "B" and top of that grade as well. They seem to lurch from one crises to another but hopefully things will be sorted out because as a game we can't afford to lose big(ish) city clubs like Salford.
However, if they have to shed one or two players to keep alive Watkins would be a good pick up for us.
I hope it doesn't come to that.
