Wharfedale v Sheffield Tigers – Match Preview

Well, it was a great match, even if we got nul points. I’m talking about last Friday evening’s match against Leeds Tykes. For a start they declared the attendance at 965 – by way of comparison their previous home match, against the normally well-supported Fylde, attracted 220. The gate was swollen by neutrals wearing the colours of Otley, Harrogate, Ilkley, Ribb and no doubt others, but the Wharfedale representation was simply overwhelming.
