On a serious note though i used to play golf with a guy called Len McIntyre. He was an ex Wigan / Oldham and GB Hooker (to be honest he also played for Wire and Saints too but never mentioned that when we spoke about RL)
he always said Brian McTigue was the hardest player he ever played with, and regularly gave us examples from his past, and he didnt seem like a guy to mess with. Len when i knew him before he passed away was into his mid - late 60s, he was still in fantastic shape and had 2 hands the size of shovels, which he regularly threatened me with as a cheeky youngster . He set off one day after a kid who had robbed something off the golf course, and he couldnt have shift too, so god knows how fast he was when he played RL
