Agree with you. I wanted Bateman to do well over there- like I do with all the English players regardless of who they played for. Its a reason why I would like Welsby to try his hand over there at the end of his Saints deal even though we would lose a quality player.
Certainly the Bateman that has come back hasn't been the same player, Farrell has massively outshone him. If he does go you'll receive a decent fee and have marquee money to play with.
