Wakefield Trinity • Wheelchair Rugby League-Wayne Boardman

A big shout out today for Wayne Boardman. Wakefield lad. I remember him and his family when a young player at Crigglestone All Blacks. I can’t remember the details (old bugger) but he had a very bad accident which confined him to the wheelchair and has been involved from the beginning of the sport. It was absolutely fantastic to see his commitment and grit which these players have by the bucket load and Wayne is classed as a limited ability player.
Well done Wayne and the rest of the team.
Absolutely gripping to watch and another part of our great inclusive sport which will grow rapidly.
