Wigan Warriors • Wigan v Sts discussion

It's interesting to see the viewpoints of different fans when it comes down to the crunch. Some like to be bullish/optimistic, some prefer to claim they have no chance and some keep on trying to be objective.
Fans who adopt the first two approaches are simply trying to manage the fear of losing more than anything else. The Saints fans on the other board who are posting that they've no chance and that they've written off the season clearly don't believe that.
I can't call our game at all - very unpredictable. If Croft was available that would be equally as tough to call but with him being out Saints start favourites with their big game experience.
I always look at the bookies because they don’t get too much wrong and both Saints and Wigan are minus 10. Due to Salford being shy of Croft and because Leeds are disrupted and have had some energy sapping games recently, I think they’re about right (maybe Leeds shouid be minus 6 or . Now it can all go wrong obviously and it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if either game went the other way but that wouldn’t be the balanced view for me.
