Send him.out on a season long loan to allow him to develop, but in two years, when Kasiano etc. have cashed the cheques and gone home he should be a lynchpin of the backrow.
Longstaff only has 1 season more on his current contract.
Unless we can guarantee him regular 1st team selection, I will surprised if he elects to sign a new contract with us, even if we offer him one.
I too would like to retain Longstaff, but I am beginning to doubt whether we will.
