Watched the game again. A really good advert for RL and the Broncos. I hope some new fans come back. A lot of really good stuff from pretty much the whole 17. There’s definitely some space in the squad for players to come in although not perhaps exclusively from L1 this time. They do seem to have gelled now and players like Leyland and Oakley have benefitted from game time. Some like Macani and Ulberg, who started the season slowly IMHO, have shown they are good players and returnees like Walker and Davis have strengthened the squad. There are reasons to be optimistic although this is a competitive league and I suspect we are still some way from the business end of the league. I hope the upturn in form might encourage some players to see London as a viable option. It’s an expensive place but you’re only young once and although Batley is the Paris of the North and Aristotle spoke highly of Keighley there are one or two points of interest in London for the enquiring mind as long as the club looks after the players.
