Academy lads came away with a 32-16 win today in blistering conditions down in london the lads have lost a fair few close games this season so its nice to get another win on board. I felt the heat did play apart and the fact we where unlucky to lose 2 forwards to injury in the first 30 mins meaning the other lads had to go longer at a time.(hope they make speedy recoveies)and i think the ref thought it was NFL when london where in possession amongst some other strange calls.nerther the less massive credit to the lads for sticking in there when it got tough.dont like to pick lads out but carter beevers stood out
On a personal note (not that anyone cares) really pleased with my young un around 65 mins straight covering prop ,loose and hooker in those conditions is decent going at any level or msybe i. Just bias
