We were spiralling out of control - the look of relief on Powell's face was as clear as that on any supporter.
There's a long way to go but there were some definite shoots of recovery yesterday. Please could you enlighten me on any points/sentences that you found sanctimonious. I've directly responded to a couple who thought I was an idiot backing Powell, and I've every right to tbh. But as I say, please enlighten me - some examples would be handy.
