With Battye missing from reserves I’m guessing he’s coming in for Butler. That’s fine but Battye has been out of any firm for some time so I hope he comes in and has a stormer.
Croft has one more game to play for Newcastle before we can recall him which is a big shame. Hope we stick with Batchelor as Minns just seems to be a liability when called up.
Battye looked hopeless in last weeks reserves fixture agains the young guns of Hull FC. Wet paper bag and all that.
