Walker may yet have a chance to shine this season. I agree he's currently well behind Hardaker and Myler, BUT, he has age on his side, he did show some glimpses of form before his injury (admittedly against Wakefield), and potentially he has the most to gain from a new coach coming in.
That said, if Hardaker does secure a longer-term deal and shows the right attitude, it doesn't look good for Walker's prospects. At his career stage he really needs to nail down a permanent first team slot, and if it can't be full back at Leeds he may well end up better served moving elsewhere.
