As I understand it Leeds spoke to Smith after sacking Furner, I’m led to believe Smith approached Leeds.
This was when Smith was out of work before He joined Hull KR.
I’d have gladly had him back then whether he would want it now who knows.
He would seem a good choice to me, in that if anyone can help get the most of young players he can and we need that badly in next 3 years.
Believe he is out of contract at end of this year. Agar played squash against Smith in The past but I have to say I’m a bit out of touch.
