Dancing On Ice star Bez has given fans a rare look backstage on the show.

The Happy Mondays legend, 57, is one of the 11 celebrities left in the ITV competition after rugby star Ben Foden was eliminated on Sunday night.

Last night Bez, who recently suffered with Covid, took to his Instagram Story to remind his followers that he would be on Lorraine later today.

He filmed the video from the comfort of his dressing room and gave a glimpse of what it looks like backstage on the show, which is filmed at a former RAF base in Hertfordshire.

Bez – real name Mark Berry – said to his 72.4k followers: “Hey, how do everybody? Dancing On Ice, it means a little cell…”

He then showed off his dressing room, which boasts a desk, toilet and plenty of storage space.

The star opened the door to his dressing room and said: “Check this out!”

In the video, Bez showed his fans a long row of other dressing rooms outside and a white marquee placed opposite his door.

The last time we saw the Dancing On Ice’s studios was when it was hit by a snow blizzard this time last year.

Many of the stars made the most of the winter wonderland-style scenes.

Emmerdale’s Joe-Warren Plant and his dance partner Vanessa Bauer filmed themselves having a snowball fight outside their dressing room.

Rebekah Vardy was also seen sticking her head out of her dressing room at the site, where the celebrities are put up in portable units.

Yesterday Bez narrowly avoided slamming onto the Dancing On Ice rink as he returned to show following his Covid battle.

The star contracted the bug just a day after making his debut on the ITV programme.

Now the DJ is out of isolation and has started practising again.

At the start of the video Bez nearly fell flat on his face as he addressed his fans on Instagram.

Luckily the ’90s star managed to catch his balance and avoid any injuries.

Bez chuckled: “Easy on the bends! I nearly went!

He continued: “How do everybody? As you can see I’m back on the ice raring to go… I’m flying backwards check that out!”

On Sunday viewers were surprised to see Bez in the audience after he had revealed that he had tested positive.

While the isolation period remains at 10 days, someone can end it earlier if they receive a negative lateral flow test after five days of self-isolation.

He previously told the Star: “I’ve had a positive test. I’m gutted because I’m going to be missing training but I’m looking forward to skating on the show again for week three and I’ll be tuning at home and cheering on my mates who are skating this weekend.”

Bez is best known for being a member of bands Happy Mondays and Black Grape.
