Coleen Nolan reveals she spent Christmas with her ex husband AND new boyfriend as she opens up on romance
LOOSE Women star Coleen Nolan has revealed how she spent Christmas with her ex-husband AND her new boyfriend as part of a family get-together.
The singer added that beau Michael Jones and former hubby Ray Fensome were looking to “go to a rugby match together” as part of a blended family dynamic.
Coleen, 56, met Michael 57, who works in logistics for a supermarket chain, on Tinder last year before they went public with their first interview this week.
Posing for a cover shoot with OK! magazine, the ITV panellist revealed that her new man had spent time with guitarist Ray over the festive season.
Asked if he had met Coleen’s ex, Michael said: “I have, we get on well. We spent Christmas Day together. I think we’re going to a rugby match next month.”
The supermarket boss also revealed how he had “swiped right” on Coleen’s profile last summer after they matched on the popular dating app.
Michael told of how he “didn’t think” The Nolans singer would reply to his message after he “recognised her” from her days in the girl band.
“It was a bit of a dilemma,” he told OK. “You think, ‘Am I just swiping because I recognise her?’ I had to think about it and do it for the right reasons.
“Not even for one minute thinking she’d reply anyway. The surprising thing for me was that once I’d swiped we were a match, which meant she’d already liked me.”
Michael and Coleen met for a drink at a local pub after talking on the phone, and spent hours getting to know each other before they were “kicked out” at 11pm.

The pair left their respective children worried after they didn’t hear from them for hours, leaving the TV star no choice but to spill the beans right away.
Coleen detailed how she told her brood that she “really liked” Michael as soon as she got home, and quickly introduced her now boyfriend to them.
The star – who shares Shane Je, 33, and Jake, 29, with ex Shane Richie, and Ciara, 20, from her marriage to Ray Fensome – was keen to create a blended family.
Meanwhile, Michael is a father to Nico, 20, from a previous relationship, while his own marriage broke down when he was in his 30s.
Coleen admitted that things were a little rocky for Ciara at first, as she was left “a bit jealous” and “missing time with her mum” while she was busy with Michael.
“Ciara sat us both down and got it all off her chest,” the mum-of-three said. “She felt a bit left out. She was a bit jealous, she missed having time with her mum.”
It comes after Coleen revealed that she felt like her “inner animal” had been released thanks to her steamy sex life with Michael.
Coleen said: “He asked me to bring a giraffe costume home from the show the other day — can you imagine that in the bedroom?
“I’ve done sexy nurse outfits but it would be more like a matron now. Here I am oversharing again! Nothing is out of bounds.
“Whenever I talk about how he’s awoken the tiger in me and how the sex is amazing he laughs and says, ‘Are you seeing someone else?’ All of a sudden I feel like I’m 16 again.”
