If they do go for a 2x10 structure, instead of having them as 2 separate divisions, why not have an American style structure where the team plays every team in their division home and away, and then plays the the teams in the other division once (5 home, 5 away). Top 2 teams in each division play each other to determine who goes through to the GF. It gets rid of the loop fixtures whilst also giving the clubs approximately the right amount of home games they need to break even.
