Hull FC - blackandwhites.co.uk • Covid 2022 impact

As mentioned on another thread it threatens to be another disrupted season and IMO every effort should be made to stick to the current fixture list and utilise the academies in the event of Covid issues to keep games on.

In respect of traveling to Toulouse and Perpignan I think clubs must have one eye on French restrictions which have been further tightened. If the leisure purposes rules outlined below are extended to all visitors inc players this could be really difficult if you have a high proportion of unvaccinated players in the squad and there are quarantine requirements. No idea where our squad are on that but it has the potential for disruption across the board and as it stands impacts fans already assuming these stay in place. Potentially less of an issue for us as our games are in the summer so likely to be lighter restrictions but if I'm reading it right and you're an unvaccinated fan right now you can only travel if you quarantine and can prove watching RL is "essential" ? And if you’re going to Spain as part of a trip you have to be double-jabbed, their rules are tighter still.

France
Britons travelling to France must show evidence of a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test taken within the 48 hours prior to travel. This must be done regardless of vaccination status. The FCDO warns: "Self-administered tests are not accepted."

France is only permitting fully vaccinated arrivals for leisure purposes, unvaccinated arrivals must have an "essential" reason for their visit and will be required to undergo a series of tests and quarantine.
