Aviva Stadium to host URC Inter-Pro between Connacht and Ulster
Connacht Rugby and the URC have confirmed the Round 5 fixture between Connacht and Ulster will take place at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday 23 October (KO 5.15pm).
The fixture is due to be the first professional sporting event in the Republic of Ireland following the planned relaxation of most of the remaining COVID-19 restrictions the previous day.
The clash will be Ulster’s first interprovincial derby in the new United Rugby Championship, and will be the second meeting of the teams at the Aviva Stadium in recent times. Back in August 2020, Ulster and Connacht played a behind-closed-doors fixture at Irish Rugby headquarters as the PRO14 resumed after the Covid-enforced break.
Ulster Season Ticket Holders will be emailed a link to access a priority booking window from 9am on Friday 24 September, before tickets are released for general sale at 9am on Monday 27 September.
