He's got a RL pedigree, plays the game and coaches a side already and has is the skipper of Jamaica. Given the RLWC is happening next year, this wouldn't be the worst Public Relations exercise. I'd like to see Tony Rea come back as some for of advisor. He had a real knack for finding gems in Australia and I think we're going to need at least 3 or 4 NSW/QLND cup players if we are to survive next year.
I am struggling to find any positives from ths whole farce, but if we have a plan, I really think the club need to let the fans know sooner rather than later. York and then maybe a play off game before 5 months of nothing....what few fans they have left may well drift away and they need a core of support, because all the noise from Wimbledon is exactly what we heard at Charlton, Twickenham, Charlton, Brentford, Twickenham, Barney and Ealing.......there has to be a bigger picture plan.....the best bet is reactivating lapsed fans. Wimbledon fans aren't going to magically become RL fans and if that's the basis of this move then we really are dead men walking...
