The Virtual Terrace • rugby study finds brain affected in one season

Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) has been researched for many years, with the NFL seemingly leading the way in regards to players/ brain research within the Boston university CTE Centre. Lots of studies of ex NFL players have been made with one showing the brains of 111 ex NFL players showed 99% of them had some stage of CTE in them. You don’t have to have studied medicine/ science at University to Understand this sort of research, I think it’s pretty clear that CTE well and truly exists, with RL players been no exception to it. I’m pretty sure the players themselves are very well aware of the risks. How can one players at 27 retire because of constant neurological issues (Stevie ward) while Ex players live well into their 80’s with no issues what so ever.
