That's pathetic.
You've only shown me your appalling bad manners. If you want to ride the game is dying bandwagon then go ahead.......
Nope. What I did do was show you that the 2 other football codes who compete for the same eyeballs and in the same TV cash arena have grown their attendances compared to the reduction in SL that you claim "isn't that bad".
I'm not riding any bloody bandwagon thanks. What I have been saying for 20+ years is that the game of RL needs to decide what it wants to be. If it wants to be a relevant and national sport, then it needs to realistically have teams in its leading competition from major UK centres and not just along the M62.
If it wants to sell itself on its core traditional northern values, then it needs to collectively sort itself out, because at present, the game is bu99ered if SKY walk. The simple fact that they're looking at a 10 team top tier because they have less TV cash is in itself an alarming pointer to the self interested way the game is run.
Hard decisions need to be made and not by the SL chairmen. Hudgell won't vote to be relegated, nor will Michael Carter....or Ken Davy for that matter either.....the tail needs to stop wagging the dog for SL and RL itself to survive the next decade or so.
Richard Lewis should never have been let leave.....we've had no real leadership since. Self serving self interested RFL employees and SL chairmen have destroyed the game and it is down to them to repair the damage.
If you don't believe that, then ask yourself who made the decision to buy Odsal from Bradford and who is now the Chairman of Bradford....if that sort of deal was done in the city of London prison terms would be served!
Oh. By the way...those 500 missing fans per game works out at over £1.5 million a year in lost gate receipts....for a sport that's taking a hit on the TV cash figures, I'd not call that anything other than a travesty.
