Fair enough if you personally think that, but Covid has really put a serious damper on the game, and maybe given fans an excuse to take a rest. We are heading for a full and proper season next year and there looks to be growing competition to stir things up with Toulouse, probably up and a professional Newcastle vying for Superleague.
In 2019 on average 8,200 watched each SL game in 2009 that was 8,700.
That doesn't really support the idea of a game losing it's zest and appeal, especially as Bradford's demise may be the reason we have lost 500 fans off the average and certainly the interrupted seasons this last two years are no measure.
