Back Together | Season Ticket plans confirmed for 2021/22

0 39

As lockdown restrictions continue to ease and we prepare for the return of supporters to Kingspan Stadium in more meaningful numbers, Ulster Rugby is pleased to outline plans for 2021/22 Season Tickets.

After a one-year break, we will be returning to traditional Season Tickets for the new campaign and 2019/20 Season Ticket holders will be at the front of the queue to renew their packages and support Dan McFarland and the team.

Following consultation with supporters, we will also be introducing the following, in addition to the regular benefits associated with Season Tickets:

  • A price freeze on Season Tickets, with prices remaining at 2019/20 levels.
  • A robust refund policy, with pro-rata refunds issued directly back via the original payment card for any matches that supporters are unable to attend due to capacity restrictions.
  • A fully digital ticketing experience, which will reduce plastic waste, reduce the risk of stolen tickets and enhance stadium security, in addition to facilitating contactless entry.

Key dates for Existing Account Holders:

  • The renewal window for existing (2019/20) Season Ticket holders will open on Monday 21 June and will remain open until Friday 30 July.
  • The movement and upgrade period will open for three days from Wednesday 4 August until Friday 6 August.*
  • Additional 2020/21 #TogetherUlster Members will have access to a one-week priority window to purchase Season Tickets from Monday 9 August until Sunday 15 August.*

* Subject to availability.

New Purchasers

  • Availability of Season Tickets for new purchasers will be dependent on the further easing of capacity restrictions, and we will react accordingly as the situation evolves.
  • If available, Season Tickets for new purchasers will go on sale from Monday 16 August.
  • To ensure you are given first priority on new Season Tickets as they become available, supporters should register your interest in Season Tickets.

Early Renewals Prize Draw

To celebrate the return of Season Ticket holders, we will be holding a series of prize draws for those who renew their tickets in the early stages. The earlier you renew, the more chances you will have to win, and if you renew within the first week then you will be entered into every prize draw!

  • Prize 1 – Win your Season Ticket for free! (Open to those who renew by Sunday 27 June)
  • Prize 2 – Win a free hospitality upgrade for you and three friends to a pre-season friendly at Kingspan Stadium. (Open to those who renew by Sunday 4 July)
  • Prize 3 – Win a signed Ulster jersey with a personalised message from your favourite player. (Open to those who renew by Sunday 11 July)

Commenting on the announcement of the plans, Ulster Rugby CEO, Jonny Petrie, said:

“First and foremost, I would like to thank the Ulster Rugby supporters who have remained steadfast in their support of the club, during what has been a challenging year for all of us. Despite all these challenges, we continue to be encouraged by the continued development of the team under Dan McFarland and I can assure you that we are determined to build all aspects of Ulster Rugby back even better.

“We feel that these plans underpin our confident and responsible mindset towards next season – offering good value to our most loyal supporters, a robust refund policy and delivering our best-in-class match-day experience while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety measures remain our top priority.

“By the time the new season kicks off, it will have been 19 months since a significant crowd attended a match at Kingspan Stadium and it is clear from the feedback received that there is a huge appetite for supporters to return. We understand how important your match days are, and we know how much it means to the team to have you there cheering them on. Brighter days are now within sight, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.”
