I think maybe he's improving as a coach, he's an honest bloke and I do belive he absolutely gives the job his best. Unfortunately as good as we are at the minute we have largely underachieved under his tenure. I was made up with him first season, as we really improved on the previous season and made both finals but we have been pretty awful since then an soften for long spells.

Maybe he's throwing caution to the wind this season as its a free shot for him and the team? Who knows but so long as we perform to our capabilities more often than not then I'll enjoy this season.

Powell will nt be a downgrade though, he's an excellent coach, looking forward to seeing what he does with the squad we have.
