Absolutely not, what a weird view of how small businesses operate. A company that size could never justify having the cost of a branch and employees overseas - and dealing with overseas employment law and taxes. One of my larger clients back in practice was a well known Bradford based haulage firm and the cost and pain of disentangling them from their Paris office was horrendous. France is obviously particularly difficult but, with the limited paperwork of the customs union and single market just sticking your goods on a lorry and sending it off was not a massive cost.

There are a host of retailers with branches all over Europe - Zara being the obvious one so how do they manage to cope with employment law and taxes in a multitude of different countries - same could be said of H&M?
