Three long-standing members of the Wharfedale family have raised an astonishing £22,000 for two richly-deserving charities.
Duncan Bullough and Robin Hargreaves have raised over £7,000 for the MyName’5Doddie Foundation’s work on Motor Neurone Disease, in memory of our former outstanding player and charismatic character Chris Davies, who died from MND at the tragically young age of 40.
In a 35-day challenge timed to finish on Saturday for KO in the 150th anniversary Calcutta Cup match, Robin rowed over 200km on his rowing machine while Duncan ran 10km every day, finishing on 356km. A wonderful effort by both these guys, neither …
