I think it was in the snow - Leeds played Crusaders on a Friday night in snowy weather, in Celtic Cru's first Super League game. I was in Uni of York and, as a South Walian RL fan, got the train over to watch the Bridgend club! Crusaders drew the second-half!
The previous game v. Cru was in the Challenge Cup when 'Saders were still in the National League. That must be the Sunday game you mention.
If anyone knows anyone who may have a programme, please let me know. It's the only one I need - but is proving elusive than some from even the 1970s!
