Reading a thread over on the Pie Board, I thought it may be of some small interest to compare some of our own coaches records over the years.
Price has a win % of 61.5, which is a smidge more than Billy Benyon at 60.0 and a tad less than Tony Barrow at 62.
The only others that have a higher figure are Tony Smith 66.4, Cec Mountford 65.0 and Chris Brockbank with the best at 74.0.
Is there a % that we should be aiming for (assuming SL keep the format that rewards the higher league placed teams in the playoffs), or is it a misleading statistic that doesn't prove a lot?
Also, in the SL era, our coaches have averaged 100.8 games in charge over a 25 year period.
