The National Clubs Association have taken the sad, but to most people inevitable, decision to cancel the proposed national NCA Cup which it had planned to launch for the second half of the season.
The NCA Cup was an innovative response to the curtailment of league rugby which offered a combination of pool and knock out matches across both National 1 and 2, but the continuing pandemic restrictions make it impossible for the competition to go ahead.
Wharfedale RUFC nevertheless remains committed to getting as many players as possible back on the pitch as soon as regulations permit. To this …
