Well I suppose SKY aren't bidding against anybody else so I don't know if there is anyone else who could do better.
I hope it's not the beginning of the end of Superleague, but for me it's the end of the alleged "expansion" unless Catalans are a bigger TV draw than Bradford Bulls?
A high flying Bradford Bulls are a "big" draw for RL but, the current Bulls side is a long, long way off "high flying"
As for Catalan, if they are in form and challenging in the top half of the comp, I'd rather watch them than many of the other sides.
I'm pretty confident that, even allowing for your hatred of all overseas clubs, even you would prefer to watch them than say Salford or Wakefield
Even with their "lack" of French players, they play some excellent RL and in players like Folou and Sam Tomkins, they have some real star quality, something that not too many of the English clubs can afford.
We've been round the block several times on this subject and I realise that your mind is set in stone.
Do you think that Toronto going and Leigh coming in will create a huge boost in Sky subscriptions and if so, why is the TV deal going to be so mickey poor - something that was muted by yourself long before covid came along.
