We didn't do too bad on the field under Whelan originally we just used to bottle finals. 2005-2007 came about from poor cap management and coaching appointments. Once he sold the club he made mistakes with re-arranged fixtures but he was quite rightly concerned about his major investment and PL football. If he still owned Wigan at the time I doubt we move any fixtures.

Without DW there's every chance we wouldn't be playing in Wigan which is a pretty scary thought. I would definitely rather have Lenegan in charge though.
