It was probably our best performance of the season, and we had to overcome some adversity too with Bullock not returning and Burgess only managing one 10 minute stint.
Catalans definitely looked dominant down the middle but I don't think you can blame us. I'm sure at one point we had Joe Shorrocks at prop as he was playing down the middle alongside Burgess and Farrell. I was very impressed with his defence and overall workrate. He was pretty much doing the Morgan Smithies role and played it well.
Greenwood didn't let anyone down either. I do think we're limiting Farrell by moving him into the middle though. His work rate is obviously fantastic but he's not much of a threat at 13. I'd love to see Greenwood given a go at prop now that he's getting some games under his belt and improving. I think we need some bigger bodies there - especially when next week we could be missing Bullock, Burgess (he's nowhere near fit), Byrne, Flower and Smithies. No doubt Mitch Clark will get a reprieve and Lockers may return but if Greenwood can just give us some strong carries down the middle and look to get an offload we can keep Faz on the left edge all game. Maybe it won't work but I think it's worth a go.
