Cooney and McCloskey selected in Guinness PRO14 Dream Team

Ulster pair John Cooney and Stuart McCloskey have been named in the Guinness PRO14 Dream Team for the 2019/20 season.

The selection was revealed by Guinness PRO14 after media from across all five countries including former players and coaches voted for the Dream Team. Players needed to appear a minimum of 8 times during the current campaign. In total, seven teams are represented in the Dream Team selection, with Edinburgh leading the way with six selections. Final opposition Leinster have three, Ulster have two, and Dragons, Toyota Cheetahs, Benetton Rugby and Cardiff Blues all earning a spot each.

This is the third year in a row that Cooney has been selected, and the second in a row that McCloskey has been named. In twelve games, Cooney has scored 105 points in the competition, including four tries. McCloskey has started 9 games in the Guinness PRO14, scoring two tries, making 105 carries and four try assists.
