Tigerlily and Montpeliers offer At Home range prize in collaboration with Heriot’s Rugby Club

0 7

The doors of Montpeliers reopen today (15 July) with Tigerlily to welcome customers from 22 July with the new At Home range remaining available.

The Heriot’s Rugby Club sponsors will offer a £50 hamper from the At Home food and drink delivery service to the lucky winner of the latest club prize draw. To enter simply follow the club Facebook page and like and share the competition post by 29 July.

Lock down has been the catalyst for many businesses in Edinburgh to innovate and Tigerlily and Montpeliers, part of the wider restaurant, bar, club and hotel business that also includes Indigo Yard, Rabble and Candy Bar, were no exception.

Since June staff were busy preparing food and drinks from the At Home range for delivery to customers.

Tigerlily Bar Manager Ryan Snedden and General Manager Jamie Crothall.

‘‘Our ‘At-Home’ range was created to offer our customers a little bit of ‘Montpeliers and Tigerlily’ at home with ease. Our products have been created not just for ‘lock down’ but as something we could continue to offer for the foreseeable,’’ Tigerlily General Manager Jamie Crothall said.

‘‘The process has been relatively straight forward, we approached it in the same way we would a new menu. The creativity process, followed by the logistics, to the first sales. It’s been great to be back doing what we love the most, albeit in a slightly different fashion.’’

Tigerlily and Montpeliers have been sponsors of Heriot’s Rugby Club for several years and are popular destinations the Goldenacre faithful from pre-game brunches and post-game celebrations.

Montpelier’s Marketing & Social Media Curator Georgia Noble said it was important for the business to give back to the community.

‘‘As a company we share a love for rugby on both a local and national level and feel very strongly about supporting and investing in a local Edinburgh team. Heriot’s has recently shown great progression and growth throughout their participation in the Super6,’’ she said.

‘‘We have a fantastic relationship with the players and supporters who also enjoy spending time in our venues particularly after their games and we look forward to welcoming them back on our re-opening across all of our venues!’’

Tigerlily Bar Manager Ryan Snedden recommends the Sunshine Negroni and Electric Strawberry cocktails from the At Home range to customers while the party kegs, two litres of draught beer, from Montpeliers has also been popular.

‘‘We began back at the start of June and pleased to say it’s been very well received; we’ve been delivering all over Edinburgh with many familiar faces being on the receiving end,’’ he said.

‘‘Our selection of ‘Just Add Soda’ cocktails we offer have been the biggest sellers and most popular so far, they’re a little sweeter to taste, and perfect for the glorious sunshine we’ve had of late.’’

‘‘On the food front, its’ been neck and neck versus our Afternoon Tea and Gentleman’s Tea, with the Gent’s pipping to the post. We wanted to create a selection with all best bits of a traditional afternoon tea, complimented with a greater selection of savoury items to be enjoyed by all.’’
